Hi all! I’m M. Kuz, and I have a solo project called KUZbeats. I’m a composer/producer/drummer/percussionist, previously signed to Ghostly International Records (POSTPRIOR), who loves to blend found sounds and organic elements with electro-textures. “Cinematic krautrock-tronica” is as close as I can get to the mark. The music is complex, dark, immersive, and as moody as I am; I don’t mind genre-bending, so I may create different impressions depending on which track is being listened to. I like messing around with time signatures other than 4 from time-to-time, because it’s fun! I’ve provided a soundtrack for one film, and look forward to doing more of that. My bucket list dream is to lead a large ensemble in performing my music live. I’m a Detroiter living in West Africa. Happy to be here!
